Pledge Day is a 12 hour live radio broadcast from the lobby of the Westin Hotel. Pledges of financial support are called in by CHQR listeners. Individuals, retailers and corporations who have raised funds for the Calgary Children's Foundation through out the months prior to Pledge Day are welcome to present their cheques on-air. We also invite local celebrities and sports personalities to be a part of the radio program.

The following is a list of beneficiaries who received grants from the Calgary Children's Foundation in 2007:

Safe Haven Foundation of Canada, Connections Counselling and Consulting Foundation, Boys and Girls Club Community Services, Albert Park / Radisson Heights After School, Alberta Easter Seals, Calgary Learning Centre, Learning Disabilities Association of Alberta, P.A.C.E. Rehabilitation Program, Kids' World Outreach Society, Ability Society of Alberta, G.R.I.T. Calgary Society, The Janus Academy, Between Friends Club, Calgary Counselling Centre, Canadian Diabetes Association, Glamorgan Community Association, Community Kitchen Program of Calgary Society, Foothills Youth Association
